What we do

Mentorship

Our mentorship program empowers underprivileged youth with the guidance, tools, and confidence to overcome systemic barriers and achieve their full potential. Through 1:1 mentorship and monthly discussions, we help young people find their voice, take actions towards their goals and build resilience.

Leadership Development

We create opportunities for program participants to step into leadership experiences by becoming ambassadors and guiding new rising leaders, lead by example, facilitate workshops and activities, and conduct community service projects. By creating these opportunities, we nurture leadership potential, promote teamwork, and inspire participants to give back to their communities.

Leading Light Fund

Our Leading Light Program offers support services and financial awards to empower participants pursuing study abroad opportunities. By promoting international education, we aim to broaden their horizons, foster global perspectives, and unlock transformative experiences that shape their future as leaders.

Ntxoo Keta Cha

Fasion Designer

NTxoo Tsab's journey with VMP began three years ago when she joined as a rising leader and ambassador. Through her hard work and dedication, she became the recipient of our legacy scholarship, which provided her with the financial assistance she needed to complete a vocational training in fashion and designing. Today, she has opened her own business in sewing and tailoring.

Ailia Ly

Cook & Server

When Ailia Ly first joined VMP in 2021, she may have seemed reserved and unsure of herself. However, her unwavering commitment to attending our workshops gave her the chance to develop her voice and begin to express her passions and ambitions. She recently graduated and now working as a event food server. As one of our ambassadors, Ailia supports other new rising leaders in the program. .

Jee Vang

Customer Services

Jee Vang was a shining example of curiosity and dedication from the beginning. It was clear that she was eager to learn and grow, and she approached each and every workshop with enthusiasm and a hunger for knowledge. Jee was selected as a recipient of one of our laptop scholarships, which provided her with resources she needed to pursue her dreams. Today, she works as a customer service representative at a hotel.

Our strategic goals as outlined by our founding members:

Close the opportunity gap for young women in education and careers.
Provide personal and leadership empowerment training, entrepreneurship, and English speaking skills to promote prosperity; reduce poverty, and delay early marriages.
Cultivate mission-driven leaders and promote co-creative leadership.
Expand our service offerings to other parts of Southeast Asia.
